Its easier to meet people in your class because you share doing things like writing papers, working on projects and reading books. You could start a conversation with someone in your class by asking what they know or think about the project or book the class is working on- this way you have opened a way to always say hi to this person the next time you see them. You don't always make friends in one day but even saying hi to that person is a great way to take the first step in meeting people.

I need advice about my graduation requirements and what to do after high school.

Confused about what to do after high school?

Go to Students Affair during 
your lunch period to make an appointment with the Brace advisor or your guidance counselor ( if you don't know who yours is, ask one of your teachers who can help you with this) .

Next, make an appointment with your counselor or Brace advisor with one of the secretaries.





The Brace advisor or counselor will be happy to answer any of your questions.

How to start planning for a project

Whenever you have to do a project or paper for class , it is a good idea to use a tool like the calendar to help you. First you write down the project or paper's name , the day its due, on the calendar . You now have a visual to help you manage  time you have for working on the project. You use the calendar to help you organize the steps needed to complete the project and don't forget to write down the action you need to do for each step . You  experience less stress  when you can visualize the entire plan using the calendar , and this  also enhances your organizational skills.
